Body & Sole, an independent women's specialty store owned and operated by the Sayers family, offers brand-name apparel, accessories, footwear, bath & body products and gift items. All of which, are targeted to local residents as well as visitors vacationing in Lake Placid, New York.

Footwear experts since 1995 we expanded the company in 2001 to include clothing and accessories to accompany our fantastic footwear collections. The combination of comfort and fashion is what we strive for.

What separates us from other retailers is an instinct in trend forecasting and buying, coupled with entrepreneurial successes in retailing, merchandising, and high-end client development.

Tracie Sayers, general manager and buyer for Body & Sole is a 1995 graduate of The Fashion Institute of Technology. She has an extensive background in merchandising and sales with a sixth sense for creating a client's style identity.

Tracie not only suggests what to buy, but also how to wear it.
